Finally managed to get travel and accommodation arrangements sorted for WordCamp Europe next month. ๐ Won’t have much time to explore Torino, but looking forward to meeting old friends โ and hopefully make some new ones. ๐

Bastian Allgeier is killing it recently with the Kirby videos on YouTube. ๐
With his latest example about importing data into Kirby, he inspired me to look into Mastodon’s public API โ and now my photo blog shows favorites and replies. โจ Here’s an example.
โRipleyโ on Netflix was fantastic. Great cinematography. Also really good sound design. One of the best series in recent memory for me. (Obviously it being in black and white had me intrigued right from the get-go.)
One of the very few times where Deutsche Bahn being late, worked out in my favor. Caught a train that was scheduled much earlier โ and now I am almost home!
Using my M-lenses on my Fujifilm camera is much more fun, than I expected.
Looking at the new Fuji X100VI made me think of the old (and often repeated) mantra: “It is not about the gear!” What a load of crap! It is totally about the gear โ but probably not in the way most people think. It is not about the technical specs (more megapixels!), but about the feeling a certain camera invokes. It is just a tool yes, but if I (very much) enjoy using it โ and it compels me to pick it up when it is just sitting on my desk โ I will make more and better images.
All of the ten most recent videos under my YouTube subscriptions tab are about the Fuji X100VI. (I am not buying a new camera!)
Trying to explain to my six-year-old daughter why she can’t listen to her favorite radio plays from Apple Music on her (my old) iPod.
