My images from day one at BarCamp Ruhr 11.
Enjoy.
The fifth WordCamp Europe took place in Paris last week. I am repeating myself each year, when I say how great it was!
I had the role of photography team lead this year, which meant that I somehow ended up shooting fewer images than in the years before. Nevertheless – here are my favorite photos (that I took) from WordCamp Europe 2017.
Last weekend I visited WordCamp Frankfurt. It was actually my first WordCamp in Germany. (I still think it is funny, that it took me that long to attend one here.)
I met many awesome new people – and got to hang out with ones I have know for years, now. In my opinion this is what makes WordCamps so special: It is almost like going to a big family reunion, where you hang out and catch up.
After having received very positive feedback for my images of WordCamp Europe 2016, I thought I’d share some tips for covering events like this with a camera.
Once again an amazing WordCamp Europe lies behind us. This time the WordPress community met in Vienna, Austria.
As in the previous three years, here are a few of my favorite images.
Like last year, I documented WordCamp Switzerland with my camera. You can find all of the 165 images on Flickr.
Update: I just added another album with photos from the Speakers Dinner.
No photo summary post by me this time, but others have blogged about this year’s #wcch:

For the sake of completeness I’ll add three images I took at the Contributor Day of WordCamp Europe 2015.
Images from the second day of WordCamp Europe 2015.
WordCamp Europe 2015 took place in Seville, Spain last weekend. Like last year’s event, the organization was flawless.
WordCamp Europe happened last weekend.
