beyond tellerrand 2019

At the beginning of this week, I was back in Düsseldorf to document the 2019 edition of beyond tellerrand.

I can basically repeat, what I wrote last year: Such a great event! So much inpsiration + new ideas/concepts. It is also a great environment to be creative – in my case with my camera. You can find all my images up on Flickr.

My favorite talk this year was by by Mike Hill. In The Power of Metaphor he teaches us about storytelling. His point about the responsibility you have as a storyteller was particularly enlightening: We all need to recognize that responsibility and make sure our stories shape people in the right direction, essentially make them better humans. He is much better in explaing this than I can do it justice in a couple of lines, so make sure to go ahead and watch his talk.
