366 Days of Daily Posting
I posted at least one image per day for one year straight. I started on January 1st, 2024 and crossed the finish line on December 31st, 2024.
- On some days it was really hard, on most days it became just part of my day.
- One of the best decisions compared to last time around was to print the images (as a series of zines) while the project was still ongoing. I felt much more invested, doing it during the project, rather than after it was done. That is also the main reason, why I didn’t make a book of the images last time. And it is much easier to deal with a quarter of the images than ALL of them at once.
- I am incredibly grateful to the people who ordered a zine, some have even gotten all three!
- Part 4 is almost done and I’ll send out infos about when and how to order it in January.
What’s next?
Good question! Not sure. I really like to take the pressure off a little.
I was thinking of monthly projects and I started to make a list with ideas. But then again, this might mean even more work, because some of those projects would need preparation and collaboration with other people, which I am not sure I have the energy for a whole year. (There are some changes coming in 2025, that will need some adjusting.) On the other hand: Facing a challenge is always a good thing to get going at all.
I’ll definitely keep posting photos on the blog, but I won’t have an issue skipping a day or two, if I just don’t feel like it.
